Market analysis on the Romanian fitness industry
Following the trend of West-European countries, the Romanian fitness market is going through unprecedented growth. For this reason, the UPfit.cloud team wanted to find out create an overview of this industry, to have a point of reference for future studies.
Therefore, we have compiled a detailed questionnaire that we have sent to the most important gyms and health & fitness clubs in Romania, during the spring of 2019. We have gathered 138 answers, representing as many gyms. They all are of different sizes, from small studios to market leaders.
The analysis has four main categories, meant to reflect each aspect of a fitness club:
